An Italian tradition that dates back to the Middle Ages. St. Joseph saved Sicily from a severe drought by bringing rain and the people, as promised, made him a big feast as a thank you. In the 19th century a Neapolitan baker named Pasquale Pintauro created the zeppole dessert and from that day on St. Joseph's is a time to enjoy food, in particular a fried pastry filled with cream and topped with a cherry.
We took the traditional zeppole and created mouth watering flavours that anyone can enjoy during this time of the year.
